All of these moves are designed to be done in a short amount of time, with very little space needed. Looking for fast, fun, and efficient ways to make movement fun while sticking with a space theme? You need to try out space themed brain break cards. Instead of bean bags use the space rocks/moon rocks/asteroids to do the activities below. From here, there are so many different activities that you can do! How about moving space rocks or asteroids! A great way to create asteroids or space rocks is by using tin foil and making it into a ball. You can do this in order of the phases or at random. Keep playing until you have covered all the phases of the moon. The kiddos will use a locomotion movement (walk, skip, hop, gallop etc.) to move to that phase of the moon. This can be done in the moon phases hop! In this game you will have the different phases of the moon placed throughout a room on the floor or on a wall. ![]() Next up learn about the moon and movement.
